We carry out a financial appraisal of the debtor including
searches for CCJ's and legal actions past or present. We need
to know who we are dealing with! |

2. |
Initial telephone contact with the debtor for a frank
discussion about payment, making suggestions and clearing up
any disputes. |

3. |
Pre-court action for example a draft Court Summons, Statutory
Demand, Solicitors letter etc. |

4. |
Legal proceedings that may involve a cost always agreed with
you in advance eg. Court fees for a summons or a bankruptcy
petition. |

*If recovery has not been
successful after the 3rd stage (which is not normally the
case) we will put an option for legal action to you. It's your
choice to continue or not at this stage without any cost to
you. This would involve you paying the basic court fees at
that time (being £50 for £400 debt and £80 for a £1,000 debt)
that is recoverable from the debtor in just about all cases.
We do not charge Solicitors fees for issuing proceedings all
other fees eg. Process serving on sole traders are at cost and
pre-agreed.
